The company provides a broad range of Services to their clients:  Research, Custom Content Development, Asset Development, Advanced Persona Based Account Targeting (ABM), Always-On ABM, Programmatic Solutions, Web Seminars, Demand Gen Programs, Live Events, Digital and Print Advertising.

 

Position Overview:

 

  • The salesperson will be responsible for a $1.5M+ media, custom content and conference revenue lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong consultative background selling research based, data/content driven integrated campaigns with a successful track record of strong revenue performance.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities: Sales Development, Territory Management and Forecasting

 

Sales Development

  • Daily strong prospecting to fill top of the funnel on an ongoing basis.
  • Embrace and learn new offerings (ABM, research and programmatic etc.)

Territory Sales

  • Seek out new client segments and revenue opportunities
  • Understanding of client objectives and how to translate them into media strategies through consultative selling techniques
  • Create targeted, proactive presentations and programs that incorporate new ideas that address client challenges.
  • Solid prospecting skills are required as we are seeking an individual that aggressively builds a pipeline
  • Leverage new ways of generating new business prospects such as LinkedIn, Google Alerts, tradeshow lists, etc.

Territory Management

  • Maximize internal partners with demand gen, content studio, research, technology to drive revenue growth.
  • Improve renewal rates through superior customer service.

Forecasting

  • Provide weekly  forecast update for annual and monthly outlook by account
  • Provide weekly a current week and monthly forecast of expected IO’s.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must be effective cold calling and have a track record of breaking new accounts. 
  • A background in lead generation solutions. (content syndication, web seminars and asset promotion)
  • Experience developing and executing successful sales strategies
  • Strong execution skills – defines priorities and meets, exceeds target
  • SalesForce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to attend trade shows, travel on a regular basis to client/agency meetings within territory
