We are currently seeking a Sales Executive who will be responsible for building new relationships.   The successful candidate will have at least 1-3 years of sales experience, a strong background in digital media sales, demonstrated a track record of creating integrated campaigns and must be able to break new accounts.  A background in lead generation solutions is a must and experience with a variety of products is essential (account based marketing, video, social, digital,print, etc.). Daily responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, forecasting, budgeting and closing new business.  The ideal candidate will simultaneously manage ongoing client relationships while working with the internal teams to develop and execute campaigns.   Travel is required for industry events and client presentations.    


  • Manage and grow business from the digital products portfolio
  • Understanding of client objectives and how to translate them into media strategies through consultative selling techniques
  • Create targeted, proactive presentations and programs that incorporate new ideas that address client challenges.
  • Formulate creative and integrated media for clients and agencies incorporating Source Media’s multi-media capabilities including digital and integrated marketing programs with digital component.
  • Manage client/agency relationship/sales process with frequent contact with clients and agencies both with active customers and prospects.
  • Consultative Sales approach to identify a prospect's marketing and media needs;
  • Solid prospecting skills are required as we are seeking an individual that aggressively builds a pipeline
  • Some inbound leads provided but targeted cold calling is the core focus
  • Along with phone and email work, you will be required to do online and in-person presentations to prospects
  • Leverage new ways of generating new business prospects such as LinkedIn, Google Alerts, tradeshow lists, etc.


  • Minimum of two years of digital experience is preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding annual revenue goals
  • Experience in financial media (B2B) is a plus; understanding of payments and mobile banking related industries would be favorable but not essential
  • Strong skills to create, present and implement innovative advertising and marketing programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well with different departments and functional teams (integrated sales, account management, marketing, ad operations)
  • Tactical with an ability to think and plan strategically
  • Ability/willingness to travel
  • Extensive knowledge of digital sales processes, digital audience measurement including Google analytics, social media and ad trafficking
  • Ability to research categories, identify targets and network within industry groups
  • Basic understanding of selling principles and processes behind consultative selling
  • Organizational skills to ensure effective pipeline management
  • Must have ability to speak with prospects across a variety of industries and backgrounds
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic required
  • BS/BA degree; Business or Marketing related field would be favorable but not essential
