    SourceMedia's Subscriptions team is looking for an energetic, hands-on Subscriptions Operations Manager to improve the effectiveness of the Subscriptions business unit's Sales Team.  The Subscriptions Ops Manager is the primary interface to the Sales Team for Salesforce, Zuora, and our CMS.  The Subscriptions Ops Manager works closely with SourceMedia's corporate technology department, triaging fixes and prioritizing the teams's development objectives.  The Subscriptiosn Ops Manager would also be in charge of documenting and improving the sales process, assisting sales reps with day-to-day queries, responding to order processing questions, managing the flow of quality leads into Salesforce, and sales rep system training.  The Subscriptions Ops Manager will be a key partner to Sales and Marketing Management, providing the visibility of activities and revenue pacing via Dashboards, Reports and other tools.  In short, the Subscription Operations Manager will remove impediments, and accelerate the sales process, to support subscription revenue growth.

    Responsibilities

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 

    • Administration, vendor management, and internal training of Sales Technology for Subscription Sales Salesforce.com Admin-level skills required; Admin Certification a plus
      • Zuora familiarity a plus
      • Marketo familiarity a plus
      • Lytics familiarity a plus
    • Dashboards and Reporting for Sales and Sales Management
    • Implementation of Sales Management initiatives related to business workflows, territory management, etc.
    • Strategic analysis of Subscription data flows to provide recommendation to Ops and Sales Management
    • Facilitate integration of SalesForce with other systems which touch subscriptions, working with technology and other internal and external teams
    • Prepare and distribute dashboards and activity reports from SalesForce
    • Implementation of best practices for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service with respect to CRM activities
    • On-boarding of new sales reps in sales technology tools Collaboration with Corporate IT to ensure Subscriptions technical projects stay on track and are delivered in a timely fashion
    • Work with Marketing to ensure marketing campaigns can be implemented and tracked in Salesforce 
    • Work with Digital Operations to ensure customer accounts are properly aligned and validate across our Brightspot Content Management Systems (CMS), Salesforce and Zuora fulfillment system
    • Work with Digital Operations to ensure subscriber usage data is Lytics is available to Sales Reps to better convert trial users and increase renewal rates wth current subscribers
    • Work with Subscriptions Customer Service team to ensure they have the tools and processes to improve subscriber satisfaction 
    • Stay up to date on Salesforce release features/functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.  Manage/test all upgrades and releases and ensure that operational functionality is not impacted
    • Manage account, opportunity, and product catalog synch with Salesforce
    • Optimize Salesforce screen views and work with sales team to trouble shoot and resolve issues
    • Provide subscription and customer account reporting and list pulls as needed

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business or technology fields
    • 3-5 years' exeprience in Marketing/Sales Operations
    • Excellent facility with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the ability to quickly learn all aspects fo the SM sales tech stack.  Salesforce Admin Certification is preferred
    • Experience working directly with and interacting with a sales team
    • Knowledge of the B2B publishing or media industry a plus
    • Passion for improving sales effectiveness
    • Able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment 
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a natural drive for achieving results
    • Proactive team player with strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel in preferred
    • Unquestionable integrity and uncompromising professional values 
    • SQL experience a plus
